Erik Falskow is a Norway-based saxophonist, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist whose work bridges jazz, pop, soul and contemporary music. With a foundation in early international touring and a career now rooted in Oslo’s music scene, he has developed a distinctive voice centered on melody and emotional accessibility. Erik Falskow creates music that prioritizes melody, emotional clarity, and human connection. His sound is rooted in soulful musical traditions shaped early in life through two formative environments: Weekly Black Baptist Church Services in the United States where music was extended, expressive, and spiritually driven, and regular performances in local bars beginning at age 14, where music functioned as raw, immediate communication with a live audience.
